Tuscany countryside apartment in Malmantile, Italy with swimming pool a part of a large private magestic villa. Apartment La Castagna is part of a large privately owned villa perched on a hilltop in the Tuscan countryside of Malmantile. The strategic location catches the summer breeze and allows you wonderful views over the countryside of Tuscany below. This countryside apartment is surrounded by 25 hectares of vineyards, olive trees and woodland. Wine and olive oil are produced on the estate and available for purchase- a perfect souvenir. Guests can explore the surrounding area and see the various country animals. The estate pool is nestled in the hills overlooking the vineyards and offers an ideal location to enjoy a vacation in the Tuscan countryside.
The villa is located just outside of Malmantile, a small town on the outskirts of Florence, Tuscany. All the necessary conveniences are found here, supermarkets, banks, stores, the train station, etc. There is a bus stop next to the villa. Malmantile is conveniently located to explore all of Tuscany. After discovering all the splendors of nearby tourist attractions such as Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca, escape the crowds and chaos to the serenity of the small town.
This recently renovated second floor apartment is part of a main villa yet features a private entrance. The single bathroom is complete with a shower, bidet, toilet, hair dryer and necessary linens. The kitchen and dining area are situated as one great room. The dining area seats 6. The kitchen has modern cabinetry, marble topped counters and the major appliances, refrigerator, freezer, stove and oven. The china cabinet offers an elegant touch and provides all the dining china for a romantic dinner. The living area and bedroom sit in one great room with plenty of sunshine from the large windows. There are terracotta tiled floors and typical wood-beamed ceilings. This countryside apartment offers the unique characteristic of air conditioning. There is a tiled terrace overlooking the olive grove for enjoying summer dinners al fresco with a nice glass of property-produced wine.
From all around this villa you enjoy spectacular views over the tuscan countryside, and can enjoy the estates vineyards and olives that are scattered all around. there are wonderful views both from the apartment and also the pool area. It is quiet, on a private road so no noise at all from passing cars and ther owners are extremely descreet. You may only see the maid all week!

Hello Elizabeth,
Just wanted to drop you a quick note and say that everything in Florence at La Castagna was perfect. The owner was very nice and not knowing Italian, we couldn`t tell his mother how good her lemoncello cookies were...so pass on the information if you can. We had a fantasic
time and were only sad in that we could only stay a week. The property is beautiful, the apartment was amazing and our experience was wonderful. Exactly what we had imagined Tuscany to be. And on a more specific note, we REALLY apprecaited the (what looked to be)
brand new kitchen and washing machine.
Thanks again for everything and we`ll certainly be in touch when we go to Italy again.
